We’re a group of compassionate, dedicated and determined people who are working toward a common goal based on the following shared beliefs:

We believe that everyone has a right to a violence-free life.

We believe domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse should never be tolerated or condoned.

We believe abuse is an act of power and control that the victim does not provoke, enjoy or deserve.

And we believe all women, children and men have a right to their own identities and shouldn’t have to be defined by cultural traditions, some of which tolerate abuse.

It is these beliefs, combined with a passion for helping others, that makes HAVEN what it is today – a nationally recognized nonprofit leader that provides comprehensive solutions and innovative programs to promote violence-free homes and communities.
